"Awesome  staff, equipment and attention to detail! They cleared out a large area  of unwanted eucs, bramble, ceanothus and leaning oaks with a Forrest  Mulcher. Using an excavator to ensure the mature eucs were felled away  from my trees and gate. They reduced  my fire hazard and I now have a large area to plant fruit trees. "In preparation for our Comcast installation, Williams Tree Service was hired to trim the trees along our telephone wire and trim the branches surrounding the three telephone posts.

The crew of three - Victor 1, Victor 2 and Moses - did a phenomenal job!  They were polite, professional, and pleasant.  I was very impressed with Victor 1's bucket truck navigating skills.  He has no fear!  Victor 2 and Moses stayed on top of the tree clippings and debris, keeping the area clean at all times.  Looking at the trees today, it's hard to tell they were pruned at all - the trimming was precise, careful and respectful.

"If you are looking for a top quality tree service, look no further ... Williams is the one! The crew came to our house to remove 4 large trees that were rotting. The crew carefully dropped the trees away from the house with skill. They cut the wood for us to use in fireplace for next season and after they left the property, you couldn't tell they were ever there (except the rotting trees were gone). All debris was either chipped and put in a truck or swept up and tossed in the truck. Fantastic team of workers! Victor, Alfonso, Jeff, Dennis and everyone else! Thanks to all for a superb job! "Dennis was great! We asked the city for a permission to cut a tree , which was damaging the sidewalks and driveway, but the city arborist did not allow us to remove the tree and recommended to put a root barrier. We asked few companies to bid for root barrier and Williams Tree Service was one of the companies. Dennis came to our house , checked the conditions and said that he cannot put a root barrier. He grew up in the area and he knew that there is a rock and very small amount of soil on top so the roots  were not going down but in parallel of the surface. A root barrier would require the roots to be cut and the tree will fall. He called the city arborist and explained the case and since there were no other options the city arborist came and signed an approval to remove the tree right on the spot. Needless to say we did not even ask other companies to bid for the tree removal. Dennis offer was very reasonable. The job he did to remove the tree was amazing. He showed up with may be 10 or more people, few huge trucks, crane and other machines.  I went to work and when I came for lunch everything was gone and clean."

"What a wonderful job they did on my 40 year old deciduous oak tree.  It's enormous they brought down the height, shaped the sides and thinned the inner branches.  Dennis Williams an arborist said with the proper pruning I should be good 5-7 years.  They brought the bucket truck the day before and were on the job by 7:30.  Eight hours later just finishing up.  Left the place so clean and nice.  Yes it cost an arm and a leg but I still have one of each left

You get quality work, they take credit cards and trees are a valuable asset to your yard and uncared for can be a major liability.  Protect your investment, hire Williams tree service, his experienced crew are courteous hard workers very kind, his office manager called halfway through to see if I was happy with job, Dennis monitored the progress closely.  I couldn't be more pleased."

"There aren't enough stars to express my satisfaction with the service provided by Dennis Williams and the crew at Williams Tree Service of Watsonville. I had three very large dead/dying oak and madrone trees removed from my property in Scotts Valley in October 2013. As a homeowner, I hang around the job site to watch when I have work like this done but this didn't bother the crew at all. The terrain was dicey (steep hillside) and the trees were very close to neighboring homes and fences, so safety and accuracy were paramount. I'm pleased to report that the job was performed flawlessly! Alex the climber was fearless working 60 feet up in the canopy hanging from a cable at the end of an 80 foot crane boom, surgically limbing huge sections of the trees, while Gary the crane operator brought them down to the staging area with such control and precision. Their crack ground crew then chipped the small branches while gladly measuring and cutting the larger pieces so I could keep them for firewood. The job was finished on time, they cleaned the entire yard of debris before they left, and the final bill matched the estimate EXACTLY. You would be hard pressed to find a safer, more professional group of guys in the tree business. I will DEFINITELY use these guys again!"

"Excellent Customer Service!

I did not get a chance (yet) to have Williams Tree do any work for me, but I will in the future based on their service and communication.

We noticed our mature bamboo grove had a lot of new growth rapidly approaching the power lines on the street. Had called our usual tree service but they were too busy to trim for a few weeks.  I then called Williams, as the company I work for had been on a job site with them and our Project Manager had nice things to say about Williams Tree.

The office staff immediately put me in touch with Dennis. He came right out to the house. He called me at work to say that I did not need to waste my money- if I called the utility company they would do the job at no cost to me.  He also said the bamboo was not very close to the power lines. Knowing my hubby was worried about the power lines, I asked Dennis if he could do the trimming anyway. He was ready to do it the next day, at a good price, but repeated that it would be free if I had the utility do it.

So as I pull on to my street that night, I don't see the bamboo near the lines.  Turns out the utility had already done the trim job! Which is why Dennis said the bamboo was really not too close to the lines.

Williams Tree was fast, courteous, professional, ready to do my trimming the very next day, and even though it was money in their coffers, Dennis really tried to save me the money. Thanks for looking after my interests!"

"Willams Tree Service has been a family owned and operated business in Santa Cruz county for over 35 years.  Dennis and his uncle Bill are old school men who do exactly what they tell you they will do, exactly when they tell you they will do it.  (Actually, they did more for me than they said they would do.)  They cut down a 60 ft, very dead and very dangerous tree right between my own and my neighbor's house.
